The Muse features many of the lauded roots outfit’s most enduring songs and showcases the genesis of its present-day lineup. “The vinyl version is special because it includes lyrics, extra songs, outtakes, and interludes that you can’t find on the CD and digital formats.” “This was a real breakthrough record for us, and we’ve had a lot of folks requesting it since it went out of print last year,” explains vocalist/guitarist Oliver Wood. Its initial vinyl pressing quickly sold out and has remained in high demand by The Wood Brothers fans ever since. The 11-track album was initially released via Zac Brown‘s Southern Ground imprint. The vinyl reissue of The Muse is set to arrive on March 5th, 2021 via the band’s own Honey Jar Records. The Wood Brothers have announced some big plans surrounding their acclaimed 2013 album, The Muse, including a 2-LP vinyl reissue and a full-band performance of the album in its entirety to be streamed later this month.
